WebSeminole Nation of Oklahoma is comprised of three federally recognized tribes and independent groups with most living in Oklahoma and a few in Florida. The Seminole Tribal Jurisdiction Area is located in south-central Oklahoma and includes most of Seminole County. The Seminole Nation Tribal Complex is located in the town of Wewoka, Oklahoma. Today, the tribe manages 372 acres (1.51 km ) of land held in trust by the federal government as their reservation. They have approximately 53 acres (0.21 km ) of fee-simple land. An additional 35,443 acres (143.43 km ) are allotted to supplement the tribal land base. The Seminole Tribal Jurisdiction Area, where it provides services to its members, includes most of Seminole County in south-central Oklahoma, approximately 45 miles east of Oklahoma City.
