1. Q: Does detox mean fasting? Can I just eat less and "detox"? Why do I need a program like this? A: While fasting has been practiced as a way to facilitate detoxification for a long time, we do not recommend relying on traditional fasting in the age we are in for an effective and practical detoxification. Pre-industrial age fasting practices are often more likely to cause more detox reactions. They lower metabolism and do not provide sufficient nutrients required for complete detoxification required for today’s needs. They may actually do more harm than good.
2. Q: Can I go to work/conduct my normal life during this program? Will I experience discomforts?
A: This program is designed for busy people. All who gave their testimonials went to work doing their detox. You will be advised on how to deal with healing reactions IF they come up, and how to ease into your program to minimize discomforts from healing reactions, which are in themselves harmless.
3. Q: Will I lose weight? How much will I lose?
A: Most of our clients who have excess weight have naturally lost from 2 to 15 lbs (1 to 7kgs) in approximately 9 to 15 days. Some have chosen to extend their program with our guidance to reach their weight loss and wellness goals. Our program does not slow down metabolism and your body will be losing fat, not muscle. The weight loss is sustainable. The reduced food cravings and increased awareness makes keeping your weight off effortless. The focus of our program is restoring the body to its optimal functioning. Restoring your ideal weight is a natural result of this process.
4. Q: What if I don’t want/need to lose weight?
A: Detox and weight loss is not the same. If you do not have excess weight to lose you will lose very little, if any. If you do your body will regain weight quickly to restore to its optimal state after the program. You will also be advised on how to customize your program so you maintain your weight.
5. Q: If I am slim do I still need a detox?
A: Detox is not just for people who have visible excess fat. A slim person can still have toxins stored in their visceral fat (fat located near the internal organs and thus "invisible"). There are different body types and people distribute their fat differently.
